Construction Commencing on Abstract’s Fourth Condo Project, The Emerson

The Emerson, a 14-residence condo project by Abstract Developments has begun construction at 1015 Rockland Avenue. Groundbreaking was officiated today with Abstract Developments and the City of Victoria on site as excavation reached the site floor, laying way for foundation work to begin.

“I’m thrilled to see that construction is commencing. The Emerson will add another high quality residential experience for Victorians,” said Lisa Helps, Mayor of Victoria.

The Emerson has received positive early interest, despite a challenging market for pre-construction sales. “We chose to expedite construction timelines on The Emerson based on strong spring sales, knowing that the bulk of our contracts will be written closer to building completion,” Miller said. The Emerson is on track for completion summer 2016.
